How DTVMusic Works

DTVMusic is a music and visual programming service that is fed through existing cable television systems to provide viewers with passive music programming and visual stimulation. The music is divided into 22 broadcast formats such as classical, big band and country and is programmed similar to radio stations of the same format. The images are from a variety of sources including the National Archives Records Administration, the Library of Congress and NASA.

Because DTVMusic is fed into an existing cable system, virtually anywhere in a facility can receive the programming. This is ideal for not only hospitals, but hotels, conference centers and long term care facilities. DTVMusic is also flexible. For example, music from any channel can be fed to in-house music systems for elevators, music on hold, and overhead speaker systems.
